Today, Bonvida Horizon’s Edge, the third book in the Bonvida Series, is now available on Amazon!

Three islands sit at Horizons Edge. . .

Divided, Atticus, Daria, Prince Victor, and Zane must endure The Descendants Trials, a series of tests given to them by Sofos, each unique to them. Zane must see his way through Bonvidian history, while Prince Victor fights to prove his worth. Daria must survive the unknown that surrounds her. Atticus battles his way through the desert with a familiar face. Will Atticus and his friends be able to figure out the meaning of the trials before their time closes?

Upon returning from the Descendant Trials, the courageous collective are further prompted to embark on a new quest in order to defeat the next and final darkness before Hematite can rise. To do this, it is necessary to take to the Bonvidaian sea, as they follow clues from an ancient poem that will lead to a weapon they seek. With the dangers of the sea at their every turn, will Atticus and his companions be able to discover the profound connection between their experience with the Trials and this new quest?

Keith Lilek’s Mentored for Good has so many elements that make it such a great read. From the stories to the sonnets and finally the reflections, there is a piece. I know for myself the sonnets were well-written and had so much depth. The reflection questions are great for personal reflection or even to go over with family, friends or a book club. I highly recommend this book!

Excited to announce that in the year 2023, Bonvida’s Awakening and Bonvida’s Quest for Light have earned the Catholic Writers Guild Seal of Approval!

Bonvida’s third book in the series is forthcoming. I’ve been working hard these last two months with my editor and beta readers. I will soon go over the beta reading reviews, and then I’ll do another look-through myself to catch any last-minute details.

The title of Book 3 in the Bonvida Series is Bonvida’s Horizons Edge.

Someone asked me, “What are some of your favorite scenes in book 1 of the Bonvida Series?”

I’ll be putting up a favorite scene starting with book 1, Bonvida’s Awakening. To make this more fun, I’m going to choose 1 scene or line from each chapter.

So here we go! Today, I’m going to start with the opening poem of Bonvida’s Awakening. This poem was inspired by Tolkiens’ “One Ring to Rule them All.”
If I had to pick out my favorite line from the poem, it would be:
“He named this place Bonvida. The darkness should have no place there.”

The poem speaks of the creation of Bonvida with the fight between Sofos (the creator) and the Darkness, aka Hematite. This last line sets up the anticipated adventure that is to come.
